Chef Lan started learning, making, and selling her mother’s authentic Vietnamese cooking at the young age of 15 in Vietnam. While there were no exact recipes, everything was prepared from the heart.
After migrating to France as war refugees, Chef Lan and her parents opened a restaurant and kept it in the family for over a decade.
In 1995, Chef Lan, her husband Inpanh, and her 3 kids moved to America with the dream of opening a restaurant and sharing the delicious food that had been passed down from Grandmother to Mother and now to the kids.
Forward to today, “tensevenrolls” was created.
Their Banh Cuon rolls are prepared using the same family recipes passed down from generations.
They also want to innovate and bring a new version of this all-time favorite with different fillings like Beef, Vegetarian and more to come.
You will love their twist on another Vietnamese staple- Banh Xeo.
Everything they prepare and serve is at the peak of freshness and you will be able to taste that commitment!
Inpanh passed away without having the chance to fulfill that dream, so his kids decided to honor him and fulfill their parents’ dream by starting “tensevenrolls”. The name incorporates his birthday (10-07) and the little man on the logo is him along with his favorite flower, Dok Champa which is known as Plumeria- also the national flower of Laos where Inpanh is from.
“tensevenrolls” is a family run business by Chef Lan, her kids, and granddaughter- Jean-Christophe, Sophie, Monica, and Jordan. They are very passionate about making you feel like you are part of their family through the dishes they grew up loving.
Their love and passion will show as soon as you take your first bite!
